This iced drink is cool for summer and has a dark, chocolatey flavour.
The foti, cacao and mucuna provide a brain-expanding, stress-reducing effect.

Makes 500 ml
2 C ice
½ C water
1⁄2 C cashews
1/8 C maple syrup
1 T maca
1 T foti
¼ C cacao powder
¼ t mucuna
Cacao nibs (optional)

Blend all the ingredients, except the ice, until smooth. Lastly, add the ice and blend. You should get a thick icy-textured drink that you can eat with a spoon. Sprinkle with cacao nibs.

Makes 15–18 balls

Version 1: without chocolate
1 C goji berries, ground
¾ C almonds, ground fine
½ C lucuma
1 t vanilla powder
½ t salt
1 C pitted dates, soaked
½ C water

Version 2: with chocolate
Add ½ C cacao powder

For decorating:
2 T almonds, ground
2 T cacao powder
A handful of gojis, ground

Grind goji berries up into a powder in a power blender. They will go sticky, but this is what gives the balls their chewy taste, so go with it!

Blend the soaked, pitted dates with half a cup of the soak water into a date jam.

In a food processor, grind your almonds until they reach a crumbly consistency. Set two tablespoons ground almonds aside for rolling the balls in later.

Add all the ingredients together, including the date jam and pulse in the food processor until well combined into a doughy consistency. Roll into balls and coat in chopped almonds.

For the chocolate version, add the cacao powder and decorate with ground gojis or cacao powder.
